It doesn't happen often, and when it does, we often have a hard time figuring out what to do.
Saturday afternoon, we dropped the kids off at Grandma and Grandpa's condo and got out of there as fast as we could. We had some time to ourselves! (James' mom had just got back from a holiday in England and they both were leaving on tuesday for Cali for about a month, so it was a good chance for the kids to see them before they left).
We headed to Costco, where we parked and then walked over to have an early dinner. Dinner was yummy, but the service was crappy and slow (the name of the restaurant escapes me). At least we didn't have the kids with us. It's not too bad to have slow service when it's just the two of us, but it's a nightmare with the kids!
After dinner, we walked over to Costco to buy wipes and browse at all the fun stuff they have there.
Shoppers World was on our way back to the grandparent's condo, so we stopped there to have a walk around (dear lord, has that mall ever gone downhill!!).
Lastly, James took me to a coffee shop for a tea and piece of cake before we picked the boys up. It was such a nice afternoon/evening spent together.
