A blur

That about sums up my life...."a blur".  Days go by and I sometimes feel like I need to sprint to keep up to them (I never was a very good runner).

Sunday, was the usual.  Swimming lessons (Drew is getting SO good!), Timmy's, nap time, James leaves for work, and then Nana and Papa's.

While H was sleeping on this day, Drew and I had quite the little construction site going.

Very serious work.

Of course, no day is complete without some play doh fun.

H had a really big nap, and then Drew ended up napping as well (of course not at the same time, why can't that ever happen?!?!).  Drew fell asleep on the way to Nana and Papa's, I transferred him inside once we got there and he slept until I dragged him out of bed at 5:45.

I had promised some outdoor time and Nana and Papa's, so after dinner we went outside ("in the night") and made roads with our steam roller, and made a few snowmen (which were belted with snowballs, of course).  It wasn't too cold, and oh so fun.  Drew loves being outside when it's dark out.

Monday found Drew at school (and a not too bad drop-off...James said there were no tears!) and H and I at home.  I was supposed to have an ultrasound for some pain I've been having but had to cancel as James was out in the barn for quite some time with a cow in labour.  She was a very small cow and the calf was VERY large.  James helped her deliver it, but was elbow deep in her in order to get the calf out (he'll do this, but refused to cut the cord for both of our boys when they were born....funny).  The calf did some major damage, and neither cow or calf made it.  Very sad.  A call to the "dead wagon" was made and they were both picked up today.  Yes, I am aware at how bizarre it is to have something called the "dead wagon" come to our house.  Such is my life.

James went to town to pick up some new brakes for the echo, and brought H and I back a pizza for lunch.  After pizza, he left for work.

After H's nap, we picked Drew up from school (he's still refusing to go on the bus) and headed to our momstown playgroup.  After this, we went over to check out the new used children's store in Milton, "Toys n Style".  It's just getting started, but seemed to have some nice stuff.  I bought the boys 3 new Franklin books and the lady threw in a free monster truck (Drew's new fav store!).

After the boys were in bed, I tried to catch up on my Gossip girl episodes, but only got through 2 before heading to bed myself.
