Blah

I can't say we had the greatest weekend.  James worked all weekend, so we didn't see him, it was rainy and snowy (WTF?!?) and I felt like crap most of the weekend.

We didn't do much.  Yesterday, we took a field trip to Walmart (woohoo) to get some groceries and to just get out of the house.  Things went smoothly there, both boys were great and we got back in time for H to have his nap.  We headed to Nana and Papa's for dinner(after H's nap)...had some yummy spaghetti for dinner (which H loved, Drew wouldn't touch) and came home for a smooth bedtime.

Nana had an Easter craft for the boys to paint.  H wasn't interested, but Drew was all over it!

Hunter was so excited about the spaghetti.  He can even slurp it now....so cute!
Today was the worst of the two days.  Last night, H was up from 1-3, and then Drew came down at 3, and slept with us for the rest of the night.

We didn't leave the house this morning, everyone was exhausted.  During H's nap, Drew and I just watched TV, which I guess makes me a bad parent, but I really couldn't muster anything else.  It was a struggle to keep my eyes open!

After nap, papa came over to pick up hay and then we headed up to their house for dinner.  The boys were both wonderful and it was another great visit.  Drew wore his pirate costume....under his sweater.  He told me he was being sneaky.  Hilarious.

My parents have an orphan calf right now.  It's mother died while giving birth, and so my dad is feeding the calf and we're all hoping for the best.  We took the boys out the other day to see the babies (there are a few of them, but only the one orphan).  Drew was asking where the baby's mom was, what happened to her, how did she get to heaven, etc, etc.  Neither my mom, or I really knew what to say, but I was thinking that we answered his questions pretty well.

Then this morning, Drew asks me, "mommy, do people disappear when they die, just like animals do??"  I can't even remember what I said to this.  James and I are going to have to sit down and really figure out how we want to approach this.  Such a hard subject.......ugh!
