Hunter had his worst night yet. He is so stuffed up, had a hard time breathing. He really wanted his soother to sleep, but couldn't breathe with it in.....would scream within 5 minutes of me putting him down. This resulted in me sitting up with him most of the night. Was not the most comfortable of nights, as the only piece of furniture that I could sit on was a hard, desk chair. Fun times. Finally, at 4ish, I came up with the bright idea of putting him in his car-seat (why didn't I think of this before). He was a little more upright, and slept for 3 whole hours. Thank goodness.
Once we all woke up from our blissful sleep, we threw on some Disney channel, and I packed. We then gave the boys a bath, and off we went to the Pop Century caf for a little breakfast. We had a little more fun in the arcade, Drew picked out his "fabulous" prize (an air-gun that shoots ping-pong balls....dear god) and then checked our bags in to the magical express.
Decided to head to downtown Disney for the morning....played in the toy store, rode on the carousel, had "Earl of Sandwich" for lunch. We bought a couple mickey ears cookie cutters today too, am very excited to try them out.
Caught the bus back to our resort, just in time for the magical express back to the airport. Bus ride was smooth, and the security process was fairly easy. Once we got to our gate, we set up the computer for Drew to watch Thomas movies (free wifi, hooray!). Got some McDonalds for dinner and then got on the plane. Drew fell asleep the minute we were in the air, and Hunter freaked out for about 15 minutes before he fell asleep for the flight too. A dream flight for us, I actually got to watch a bit of tv!
Got back to Buffalo, Drew and Hunter both woke up and were fantastic. We changed them into their pjs, and James got the bags, and picked up the van. Drew was worried he wasn't coming back....I think the fact that the airport was so empty freaked him out...."mommy, when is daddy coming back", "mommy, why is the airport so empty?". Poor little man.
We were worried that because he slept for so long on the plane, he wouldn't sleep at night. He slept right through until 7:30am. Guess the whirlwind Disney trip successfully tired him out.
Staying onsite was neat. I have stayed onsite before, but James had not. Not having to rent a car, or worry about our luggage once we checked in was nice. I think we are a bit spoiled by my parents condo (time-share) though. The room seemed very small, and not having a kitchen, or seperate bedrooms was difficult. I think we realized that being able to go to publix and pick up "fun" snacks once in a while is a nice bonus.....something that we really like to do. I think staying onsite in a resort like that for a couple of days is great, but if we stayed for much longer, I think we would have gone insane.
