Our week...

...was busy.

I did my first two days supply teaching for the year.  I had two great days, and am really excited to get back into it again.  I really love supply teaching....is that weird?

Tuesday, I was working so James took the boys to gymnastics.  They went to Nana's afterwards for some train fun.  Once I was home from work, and we had dinner, we went to the Milton leisure centre for a swim.

I headed out again, after the boys were dressed for bed, for a walk with my friend Kelly.  LOVE when I can do this, really wish my husband would get a day shift, so I could do this more often (hint, hint).

Wednesday, I was working again, so James took Hunter to his discover together class (Drew was at school).

 They had fun.

Once they were done their class, they met me at Boston Pizza for lunch (I was just working a half-day).  They had sent me a coupon for a free pasta for my birthday, so we took advantage of that.

After lunch, we picked Drew up early from school and hit the road for the cottage.

Thursday was full of cottage fun.  It was raining in the morning, so Drew and Hunter had time to make up a game consisting of throwing blocks at other blocks......

They got out for a swim and some fishing once the rain cleared up.  I jumped in too, but froze my ass off. Not sure how the boys stayed in for any length of time....must be a boy thing (James stayed in too...of course).

We had to get some things in town, so we headed in to McDonald's for lunch (it had started raining again, so we ended up spending a couple of hours there).

When we got back, it had cleared up again, so we all headed down to the water.  I didn't go in this time, but the boys did.

Love that the frog was captured in a photo mid-escape.
After the boys went to bed, James and I watched the movie, "Motherhood".  It was TERRIBLE, with a capital T.  Sooooo boring!!

Friday brought much of the same as Thursday, except there was a long nap in the middle of the day for myself and Hunter and a lot more bike riding for Drew.

Drinking freshly blended pineapple smoothie.

I had said something about them driving me crazy, so they decided to show me what crazy was..by kicking and screaming on the bed.  It was actually really funny and cute.
Mid-afternoon, James met with a few people who are giving us quotes on property management for up there.  Can't wait to get their quotes this week.  Would be WONDERFUL if all of the grass cutting, etc was actually done well.

Saturday morning, we went to a momstown event.  Eva, from Blink of the eye photography was doing 15 minute mini-sessions.  The boys did great.  Hunter even listened to his directions.  From where I was standing, it looked as though she got some good shots.  We will see when she sends them to me.

The fact that they did so well with their photo shoot may have had something to do with the fact that I bribed them with a starbucks treat afterwards.

Starbucks had sent me a coupon for a free drink (any type/any size) for my birthday.  I took the boys there and ordered their biggest frappechino and they were nice enough to split it into 2 smaller cups for the boys.

After our treat (ok, their treat) we headed over to the kids section at Indigo (attached to the Starbucks, very convenient).  We just happened to be there for story time and craft time.

Saturday night was spent at Nana and Papa's.  We went out on another gator adventure, not staying out too long this time, as it was COLD!

The boys had their first hot chocolate of the season.  Drew loved his, Hunter did not enjoy his.

This morning (Sunday) the boys had their first swimming lesson for this session.  They did great and had so much fun.

James went off to work after a visit to Tim Horton's and Nana and Papa came to the grocery store with me and the boys (they were a wonderful help there).

Once home, H had a nap and Drew and I decorated a pumpkin that we had purchased at the grocery store.

The evening was, once again, spent at Nana and Papa's where we just hung out.  It was cold and rainy outside, so the gator stayed in the shop.

Hopefully this week has some fun things in store for us!
